COMMENT:
After the death of his first wife, Polly PECK, Joseph married Phebe CROSBY PECK,
the widow of Benjamin PECK who was his first wife's brother. Joseph was 61 years
old, and Phebe was 31 years old at the time of their marriage in 1833.

Many have mistaken Joseph Knight, Sr's death place as Pisgah, Harrison County, Iowa. The mistake may come from the records showing his son Joseph Knight, Jr., residing in the area and being called as bishop to the Blockhouse Branch.
