1. Perkins Settlement (1826) became Ramus (1840), then Macedonia (1843, and finally Webster, Illinois.
2. Ute was first buried in the Durphy Cemetery in Nauvoo, then reintered in Cemetery #1 also in Nauvoo. (See map) His tombstone is located there. There are also recent markers in the Webster Cemetery for Ute and his wife, Sarah. These are memorials.
