| Text | Description: Various sources have two daughters, Sarah Suzannah Devine, probably born 1828 as she was a couple years after Cornelia Devine [Pitt] who was the wife of William Pitt of Brass Band fame. The two daughters were recognized as good singers and Thomas Kane specifically refers to Sarah as the 'young woman' who sang at the Mormon Battalion's 'farewell ball.' Also note that James middle name is mis-spelled herein - GibSON vs. GibOSN as shown. Please contact me to discuss further. - Kevin Kevin Henson kevinhenson54@gmail.com | |
